Easter at the Farmhouse

We spent a whirlwind of a week with family over Spring Break. My sister Melinda and her family flew out from Utah to take in the East Coast-- and they nearly did it all! I may or may not get around to blogging about the week, but here's a glimpse of Easter. Spent at the farmhouse in Pennsylvania.

These aren't the best shots of this 150 year old beauty, but they'll have to do. My sister Carolyn (whose family currently lives in the house while on a one year military assignment) recently researched and wrote a fabulous history of the home in an effort to save it from pending demolition. News has spread and she made the front page of the local newspaper in Carlisle!

You can read the history here, and see a video tour of the house here.

Some pics of our Easter afternoon....

Just in case you didn't catch that glowing "Y"...

Sweet Virginia

It's that time of year again.

I grabbed the camera for our walk the other day and snapped a few shots of bliss:

Had enough?

Too bad.

If heaven doesn't look a little something like this--

then I don't know what.

Happy Spring!
