Oh Ho Ho....the story's not over. Not just yet. But in the meantime, here are some wedding photos. Unfortunately, the color photos are in an album that isn't letting me remove them without a fight. I got two out with minimal damage, but am having to resort to loose black and whites of the reception for the rest right now. After scanning, they look more like newspaper shots. Someday I'll re-install Photoshop and work on them. Someday. Here are a few highlights:
The view from our window...
Oh, my aching feet...
Craig and the best man...
Me and my maids...
And a more colorful view of the cake...
Such a happy day.

Thank you for the story - and the PICTURES!
Oh my gosh, so cute!
Pictures are wonderful. There are some pretty goofy ones in there that I love. You both look so fabulous. Makes me want to pull out my pictures! Can't wait for the next installment of your story.
I remember your wedding day well, and I loved the poem Creighton's dad wrote and recited. I just read this quote on another blog, and thought of you and this great love story you've been sharing.
"Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.
Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two."

So fun to see the pictures after hearing the whole story!
I love that quote, EmmaLee. Sums it all up quite well, doesn't it.
